1/27/2017 · The good news is, you can adjust the clutch pedal slightly to increase the throw it places on the hydraulics – essentially raising the bite point and ensuring that the clutch is fully disengaged. … Is it just my car or is not possible to go from 2nd or 3rd to 6th on the NC mx5. The NC 5-speed is more like the NB 5-speed than the NC 6MT. And the NC 6MT is notchy, no matter what else one does. However, have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal grab point? While they are supposed to be self adjusting, there is some further adjustment possible..
9/8/2013 · The clutch shouldn’t need adjustment any time other than following a clutch change and even then it shouldn’t need adjusting. There is a switch t hat sends a signal to the ecu that the clutch is pressed so it knows to use the idle valve to stop the engine stalling.
