9/22/2018 · This is the first iPhone where I can clearly feel a sharp edge on the stainless band, between the screen and the band. It’s the weirdest thing. It’s not the entire perimeter (the corners are smooth for example) but boy is it noticeable. My 2017 X is smooth as butter all around. So has every other iPhone .

11/30/2017 · Mine is rough along the left edge and it was a bit rough on the bottom but with use it has seemed to smooth out. So maybe like the other person said the screen just needs to settle???? Overall I am very happy with the device and don’t see a need to go exchange it.
